I love sharing stories of superhuman ability. Thanks to Scott Lee Sherwood for sharing this one with me. Meet like Daniel Tammet of England. At first glance Daniel may seem rather ordinary, but don’t let his appearance fool you. Why? Well, just for starters, after only a few minutes of observation, he can verbally reel off the number pi to 22,500 decimal places from memory. It took him just over five hours to complete the task — though he admitted after a recent demostration that it made him “very tired.” Daniel, 26, is a phenomenon. He has done lots of amazing things — like learning Icelandic, one of the world’s most difficult languages, in just seven days.
